Our Mission
Centered on Healing and Transformation
i am We Global Village is committed to creating and sustaining collaborative healing spaces with a justice-centered approach. We work to build community from a place of deep commitment and love. We uphold and center the five pedagogical stances of Maisha Winn in our work -- justice matters, race matters, history matters, language matters and future matters.
Our Vision
We envision a world in which all people and relationships are valued, nurtured, and honored.
We envision a future that honors the lessons of our past, acknowledges its impact on our present, and removes the shackles that currently bind institutions and individuals to a status quo rooted in white supremacy.
Our Values
-
We are all wounded and hold the seeds of healing within.
-
We are all worthy of love, relationship, and community.
-
We all have a voice and a story to be heard.
-
We are all whole human beings under construction.
-
We prioritize heart work over head work while recognizing the importance of both.
-
We know oppression will not end unless it is disrupted and dismantled.
